Happy Anniversary, Mom & Dad!

My parents have been together for 34 years. Can you believe that? Seems crazy in this day and age. They knew they were soul mates when they met and they are the most beautiful example of everlasting, unconditional, true love I've ever known. Who says all the happy endings are only in fairy tales? My mother found her prince charming and they never looked back. Good thing too, or I wouldn't be here!

A Lovely Holiday Weekend!

What a relaxing and fun two days it was! St. Pat's was a hoot, hanging out with my sister, going to our town's annual parade, then meeting up with the parents for brunch! We dressed in all the green we owned and enjoyed the people watching as everyone came out to celebrate. Even with it snowing! The evening found us sipping green beer at one of our favorite local haunts to the sounds of live bluegrass. Perfect!

A Little Green Decor

I don't own too much St. Patty's decor, but I do like a few splashes of green. This holiday is even more fun now that we know that the family is half Irish! I'm looking forward to celebrating on Saturday! And until then, I'll enjoy my green indoors.

A Leprechaun Came By!

My sweet mom surprised my sister and I with St. Patrick's Day goodies yesterday. I love these little seasonal gifts. This year we were rewarded with tiaras and chapstick, fancy socks, peeps and a mug of sixlets.. (Mmm!) We even got a little of the REAL green stuff. ;) Drinking money! Or maybe grocery money. We'll see. :) I love my personal leprechaun!

A Week in Florida!

The reason for my absence lately is a trip down south. I had never been to Florida before and I was pleasantly surprised. The warm weather was amazing (especially with it still snowing often in MT). The conference I attended was phenomenal. My presentation was well received. I then treated myself to a day at Sea World, the shopping outlets, and a day at Cocoa Beach. All divine! Below are some snap shots from the affair. :)
