Backyard Camping
My goal this weekend was to scoot out of town and sleep under the stars somewhere. My sister and I woke early on Saturday only to realize that our to-do lists around the house were too long to leave. Darn! Well, we got all of our tasks done and still did some camping---in the backyard! We had a fire and cooked s'mores. We BBQ'd and drank beers. We set up our tents and slept under the stars (and subsequent rain last night). It was wonderful! Even if I was a stone's throw from my bedroom, it still feels so relaxing to sleep in a tent. :)

So cool that you did this! You have the perfect backyard to do it in too. Nice and safe and cozy. Did Bear get to stay outside all night with ya? :) LYS

ReplyDeleteOh, what fun! I can't wait to go camping - and we need to try out the tent before we take it to Italy, so the back garden might be our first campsite of the summer, too!
