So after the wind and rain and hail was finished punishing our fair city this morning, I braved the chill and wandered down to our Farmer's Market. It turned out quite pleasant as the sun finally came out and I was surrounded by other market-goers. My favorite part? Well, along with the delicious carrots and the three ears of sweet corn...I bought dessert. Yep, fancy dessert from a pastry booth. I just couldn't say no after she told me what it was! So I handed her the money while she packed it in that little brown box.
What is it? Bundt cake! But not just any bundt cake, mind you. It's a mini bundt cake made out of the following ingredients: Coffee (oh yes!), Chocolate (a must!), and Irish Whisky (whaaa? Ok!). It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It stood out in the lady's booth because it was the only black dessert! (I need the recipe for Halloween!) So, I stuffed my face on the way home and only got a photo taken after it was half devoured. Oops! I've never eaten something so fast! And I just had to share it with all of you. :) Black Bundt Cake = swoon.
